Before starting UnglueYou® I worked in management in the voluntary sector and it was here I delivered my first collage workshop. It proved immensely powerful for the bereaved carers who took part. Enabling them to open up, acknowledge their feelings and progress through their journey.
Later I found myself at a transition in my career, wanting to use my creative skills to support others. The ongoing positive outcomes for the bereaved carers and creating my own collage inspired me to launch UnglueYou® in 2012. Since then, I’ve undertaken additional training to complement the creative approach. I enjoy sharing the benefits of using collage as a tool for self-development both practically and educationally; including guest lecturing at Kingston University Business School.
My passion is for people to live accepting and expressing their unique identity, including myself. So I freely express my creativity through collage, dance and remaining ‘playful’ and curious.
